Dave Elders elected as Thirsk Ward councillor in By-election

We are delighted to announce that Dave Elders has been elected as the Conservative councillor for the Thirsk ward in the recent By-election.

The results were as follows:

Conservatives 679

Labour Party 251

Yorkshire Party 108

Spoilt 4

Total 1042

Turnout 19%

Cllr Elders joins Cllr Gareth Dadd as the second councillor in the Thirsk ward and we know they will both work hard for the residents of Thirsk and surrounding villages. Congratulations Dave!
