Since May 2010 we have been committed to delivering over 3 million new apprenticeships. This government wants to enable everyone to go as far as their talents will take them, and are committed to helping young people get into work and support themselves.
On Thursday 8th June, Kevin Hollinrake was returned as Thirsk and Malton's MP. The Association would like to thank everyone who supported our campaign and to those who helped in other seats - York Central, Stockton North and Middlesborough.
Campaigning has resumed following the recent suspension due to the attacks on Manchester Arena. Our thoughts and prayers remain with those injured and the families of those killed in the tragic events.
Thirsk and Malton Conservatives won eleven out of twelve seats at the NYCC elections on May 4th. Two divisions (Stillington and Thirsk) were uncontested and there were gains for us in Filey, Pickering and Norton.
The Prime Minister has called a General Election for Thursday 8th June.

At the Executive Council meeting held on 19th January 2017 the Executive approved the creation of our own CPF Group. There are over 250 CPF groups around the country and their purpose is to give Party members the opportunity to discuss policies and the major policy challenges facing Britain.
Guest Speaker, Jacob Rees-Mogg Member of Parliament for North East Somerset, spoke at an Association Dinner on Friday 7th October. 60 Patrons and Members of Thirsk and Malton Conservatives attended the event which was held at the Ham and Cheese in Scagglethorpe.
